The great thing about fashion is being able to take inspiration from the runways and interpret trends into your own style, which is why I enjoy doing my runway remix segments. You don’t have to break the bank wearing designer looks to have the latest fashion trends.
I decided to remix the Tibi Fall 2019 RTW look 31. I loved that Tibi opted for pastels colors for a fall look, since most fall looks consist of dark, neutral color ways. I can across this ASOS drop waist smock dress I’m wearing in the photos below and immediately thought of Tibi’s F/W 2019 runway look. Lately, smock dresses have been all the rave and spotted on many influencers both on the gram and in the streets.
I remixed this Tibi runway look wearing a ASOS lavender drop waist smock dress and Bershka high-heel slouched boots.
My love for smock dresses was heighten to another level when I discovered designer Cecilie Bahnsen, who I have pronounced (the queen of smock dresses). Smock dresses have just the right amount of femininity and are great for styling a look from day to night. Whether you like a short/long dress, neutral/vibrant colors or printed/solid dress, there’s a variety of smock dress options on the market to shop.
